It was ‘Family Day’ this past weekend as Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey drummed up a few of their celeb friends for some good, clean, family fun at Santa Monica Pier. Taking a break from the American Idol drama of last week, the couple showed up with their adorable twins Monroe and Moroccan in tow and was later spotted riding various rides and playing games.
Over 2,000 guests came out to the event, including Tisha Campbell & Duane Martin, who brought their kids along, as well as Master P, producer Rodney ‘Dark Child’ Jerkins, actor Flex Alexander and his wife Shanice.
Everyone had a great time enjoying unlimited free rides, face painting, live music and photos while marking October 4th as ‘Family Day.’ Nick said, “We have Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, I’d really like a recognized Family Day – so this is my attempt to make that happen.“
