Hong Kong Billionaire, Cecil Chao Offers $65 Million ‘Marriage Bounty’ To Man Who Can Get His Lesbian Daughter Gigi To Marry Him

 Hong Kong shipping magnate Cecil Chao is willing to pay an outrageous sum of money to see his daughter get married, but there are two major stumbling blocks. His daughter Gigi is a lesbian and is reportedly already married to her partner of seven years, Sean B. Eav, according to the New York Daily News.

Cecil is not deterred though. He is offering a jaw dropping $65 million to the man who can get his daughter to walk down the aisle.

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor,” 76-year-old Cecil said. “The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted.”

Homosexuality was decriminalized in Hong Kong in 1991, but same-sex marriages or civil unions are not legal. To get around that, Gigi and Sean, who also uses the name Sean Yeung, reportedly got married in France last April.

Cecil refuses to acknowledge that his daughter is married despite many reports to the contrary.

Gigi's Facebook page describes her as a "Helicopter Pilot. Social entrepreneur. Creator of expressions in colour and emotion. A woman that cares to look another in the eye and seek what's behind. Loves to stare at a flower and imagine herself a butterfly."

Gigi is an executive director of her father's company, Cheuk Nang.

So far Gigi, who is 33-years old has received around 200 offers according to The Daily Telegraph.

"People are contacting me on Facebook, by email, on Twitter. It's ridiculous. I can't sort out the serious proposals from the half-hearted ones. I can't make head or tail of it," she told The Daily Telegraph.

Her father Cecil, has never been married himself and claims to have slept with 10,000 women. He says he would never force his daughter to marry someone. He added that the dowry is a way to attract “someone who has the talent but not the capital to start his own business.”

“My father took a hands-off approach in parenting,” Gigi told HK Magazine, in a 2007 interview. “I see him as a friend more than a father. My parents never pressure me with high expectations.”

Gigi is no longer accepting friends requests on social media because of bombarded with requests.

“No longer accepting Facebook friend requests … sorry,” she wrote. “Where do all these people come from? Jerusalm [sic]? Ethiopia? Istanbul? ridiculous. It’s also quite scary that my friend requests number keeps jumping up every few seconds."

Jay-z Is More Than Ready For Barclay Center Opening

Jay-z doesn’t tweet that often, but when he does, most of the time it’s a subliminal reference to either his wife or one of his business endeavors. (Except for that strange tweet that read, ‘Chris Brown’, which was posted to his account last year).

At any rate, yesterday, in preparation of his sold out shows at the new Barclay Center in Brooklyn, Jay tweeted a photo of himself laid out on the Brooklyn Nets logo with a caption that he took from R. Kelly’s ‘Ignition’ lyrics:

“Usually I don’t do this but, uh go on and break em off with the preview of the remix”.

The tweet was more than likely in reference to the Barclay Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets, which will open it’s doors tomorrow for the first of eight sold out shows that Jay-z will perform there before the Nets actual season starts. The new arena, which hopes to attract more basketball fans since it is closer to Manhattan, houses 101 luxury suites, four bars and lounges, three clubs, Jay-z’s 40/40 Club & Restaurant and eight retail stores.

According to reports, Jay only owns 1/15 of the Nets, however he serves as an ambassador for the team as well as a key contributor in the arena. He pushed to change the team’s colors to black and white, redesigned the logo and will dictate most of the music that is played during games.

And have you seen the BK Nets’ dancer’s uniforms? They are so ’round the way girl’ meets Destiny’s Child’s wardrobe. You sure Mama Knowles didn’t have anything to do with this? Ha!

It’ll be interesting to see how the move to Brooklyn will go for the Nets. Traffic will be a bish but at least the Arena is more accessible than when the Nets were playing out in Jersey.

Chris Brown Spotted Making Out With Nicole Scherzinger

Well, this sounds like a scandal..

Chris Brown was spotted engaging in suspect activities last night while hosting a party at the Supper Club in Hollywood. While there, he was snapped whispering sweet nothings and smooching on Nicole Scherzinger (formerly of the Pussy Cat Dolls).

It probably wouldn’t be as big of a deal if Nicole wasn’t currently dating race car driver Lewis Hamilton and Chris Brown wasn’t in a serious relationship with his girlfriend Karrueche.

Update:  Nicole Scherzinger’s rep took no time releasing a statement to TMZ:

There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story … The photos that have surfaced are old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club.”

Soulja Boy Facing Defamation Lawsuit Over Car Crash

It seems that a rap feud with 2012 XXL freshman Hopsin, wasn't the only thing Soulja Boy got into this summer. TMZ is reporting that the 22-year-old rapper was involved in a car accident on June 23 outside of the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, and is being sued for the incident.

According to Soulja Boy, Bobbiye Sullinger, struck his red Bentley when she tried to make a left turn at the same time the rapper was passing through the intersection. Sullinger, along with her passenger at the time, Herman Flowers, are jointly suing Soulja Boy for medical expenses, loss of income, and property damage.On top of the lawsuit for the accident, Sullinger and Flowers are also seeking defamation retribution, as they claim a video shot by Soulja Boy and later uploaded to Youtube and broadcast to his many Twitter followers, has negatively impacted her career and severely damaged her reputation.

In the video Soulja Boy surrounded by unknown acquaintances, refers to Sullinger and Flowers as racist.  He then goes on to brag about his new Audi and the state of his Bentley. Soulja Boy attributes his remarks to Sullingers claim that he stole his Bentley.  In initial reports, Soulja Boy denied being behind the wheel of his Bentley, before admitting that he was in fact the driver.

A judge has yet to preside over the case.

President Obama Addresses The U.N., Calls Anti-Muslim Film "Disgusting"

President Obama made a stop in New York City Tuesday (Sept. 25), where he addressed the United Nations General Assembly, and appeared on ABC's The View. The president's address was centered around the uprisings in North Africa and the Middle East, in response to a controversial film making fun of Islam, which he blasted as "crude and disgusting."

Following criticism over a lack of aggression in dealing with Iran and the threat of a nuclear attack, the president was stern with his criticism of leaders, both in and outside of the Arab world, who are unwilling to own up to the turmoil in their countries. "We have taken these positions because we believe that freedom and self-determination are not unique to one culture," he said. 

"These are not simply American values or Western values -- they are universal values. And even as there will be huge challenges that come with a transition to democracy,  I am convinced that ultimately government of the people, by the people and for the people is more likely to bring about the stability, prosperity and individual opportunity that serve as a basis for peace in our world."

"True democracy -- real freedom -- is hard work."

Of the violent outbreaks overseas, and the bombing in Benghazi, Libya, which took the life of U.N. Ambassador Chris Stevens, the president said that the issue is not specific to the U.S. "The attacks of the last two weeks are not simply an assault on America," he said. "They are also an assault on the very ideals upon which the United Nations was founded -- the notion that people can resolve their differences peacefully; that diplomacy can take the place of war; and that in an interdependent world, all of us have a stake in working towards greater opportunity and security for our citizens.

"Today, we must affirm that our future will be determined by people like Chris Stevens, and not by his killers. Today, we must declare that this violence and intolerance has no place among our United Nations."

Obama shared the same sentiments during a visit to The View, which has been criticized after he jokingly call himself "man candy" for the all female hosts.

Mitt Romney also traveled to New York to speak at a meeting for President Bill Clinton's organization, the Clinton Global Initiative.

French Montana Covers Fader: Reunites With Family In Morocco For Cover Story [Pics]

French Montana nabs the cover of issue No. 82 of Fader. It's a special issue for French because it gives the 27-year old the opportunity to travel back to his home country of Morocco since he left at the age of 13.

French reunites with family he hasn't seen in years and discusses plans to one day own property where he grew up and plant permanent roots there.

Outside Casablanca’s Mohammad V airport, there are dusty palm trees and low bushes prickly with violet flowers. Vapor from the nearby Atlantic Ocean spreads out in a haze across the sky, diffusing the morning sun to a glare. It’s Ramadan, and the city is asleep. French Montana, wearing sweatpants and slippers, a tattoo that reads “Pray For Me” on his neck, scuffs the parking lot pavement. “I was gonna come down and kiss the ground,” he says apologetically. “But it’s too dirty.” Instead, he climbs in the back of a black van, and heads for the city he used to call home.

Born Karim Kharbouch, French Montana spent his first 13 years on a sprawling family estate just outside Casablanca. He left with his mother, father Abdela and little brother Zack for the South Bronx when he was 13 and, until today, has never been back. The young Karim learned English in the streets and in the Bronx high schools—Lehman, then Roosevelt—that he attended before dropping out. His father lasted two years in New York before returning to Casablanca. His mother was on welfare. Whatever other money they had came from Karim, and he did what he could to provide, legally and illegally, risking not just jail but deportation. Today he’ll show you the twin scars on the back of his head where the bullet that nearly killed him entered and exited. “You do dirt to people and people try to do dirt to you,” he says philosophically, and that’s about as specific about that day as he’s willing to get.

Karim Kharbouch became French Montana sometime around 2002, when he and a friend noticed the growing market for street DVDs and began making their own. They knew plenty of former and current drug dealers and a handful of rappers, so they enlisted, he says, “whoever was legendary” to star in a series of DVDs they decided to call Cocaine City. French Montana made sure to get on camera too. “By the fourth volume, everybody knew who I was,” he says. That may or may not have been true then, but it’s pretty close to true now. Today, French Montana has a joint deal with Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group and a debut album, tentatively titled Excuse My French, due out this fall.

There are artists who come along from time to time that seem to embody a moment, and in 2012, French Montana is one of them. He is a New York rapper with a vaguely Southern cadence, a man of a few simple words from a city that continues to idolize complexity, even as the genre as a whole has long since turned towards unhinged ad-libs and non-sequitur boasts. There is a kind of blunt efficiency to what he does: rap reduced to exclamation points and full-stop periods. He makes up for what he lacks in finesse with a keen sense of timing and purpose. His slurry, amiable voice is a rap radio constant—that’s his sleepy drawl on the hook of Rick Ross’s “Stay Schemin’,” on last year’s Lords of the Underground-checking “Shot Caller,” on the lilting, menacing Waka Flocka Flame collaboration “Choppa Choppa Down.” “Pop That,” Excuse My French’s antic strip club anthem featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, recently landed in the Top 40. French’s 2012 has been charmed: his recent habit of wearing colorful Versace scarves as headgear led to an invitation from GQ to come style the magazine’s editors; “fanute”—an inadvertent slang term he slurred into existence on his “Stay Schemin’” verse—was subject to an exegesis in The New York Times Magazine. He’s in that fleeting zone where just by doing things they become news.

Coming into Casablanca, the road is fast and empty and lined on both sides by a pale, straw-colored landscape. We speed through gendarme checkpoints, uniformed guards waving us on. Ahead of us the city comes into focus, thousands of low, white buildings stretching flatly in the haze. French Montana looks out the window, taking it all in. He’s grinning.

What he mostly remembers about Morocco is leaving it. What-ever his father had in mind when he moved his family to New York didn’t work out. “He had a lick over there,” French says, meaning a plan, a hustle. “But that lick went wrong. He was trying bring us back [to Morocco] with him, but my mother wouldn’t let him. She was like, I’m not letting them go back over there, ain’t no opportunity over there. So he went back, and she stayed with us.” When he returned to Casablanca, Abdela left behind a newborn son, his third, and little else.

French has not told his father he’s coming to Morocco, though he plans to see him. He has, however, told most of his mother’s side of the family, and they are eager to reunite. Muhammad, French’s mother’s brother, arrives in the lobby of our hotel, the Royal Mansour Meridien—a quiet oasis of marble floors, gold trim and colonial splendor near the water—moments after we do. Muhammad is a tanned, fit 62-year-old, a cheerful, boisterous man with a pinky ring like a paperweight, olive-green dress pants and sandals. In the hotel lobby, he wraps his arm around his nephew, and for a moment French Montana—who generally maintains the friendly but distant vibe of a rapper whose daily life consists of one long performance—looks like a child. “We’re going to do a great tour of all the things he’s lost in the 16 years since he left Morocco,” his uncle says, winking. And with that we are off, piling into the backseat of his black Mercedes sedan and flying down La Corniche, the beachfront section of the city, Muhammad pointing out landmarks as we go.

French has brought his youngest brother, Ayoub, here to meet his father for the first time, and his manager, Gaby Acevedo, a charismatic giant of a man. They’re trailing in a second car behind us, so they can’t hear the increasingly fantastic and profane monologue Muhammad launches into as we drive, a torrent of words about Jimi Hendrix, money, family, alcohol and his fading but apparently still formidable sexual prowess. We pass the startlingly graceful 700-foot minaret of the Hassan II Mosque and the sprawling, leafy palace of the king of Saudi Arabia. “I remember coming down this hill!” French says excitedly, with a kind of relief on his face. “If it would have went any longer,” he says of his absence, “I wouldn’t have known how to act coming back.”

We detour away from the coast when we reach the city’s newly built Morocco Mall, the largest in Africa, which houses several football fields-worth of Bellagio-style fountains, high-end retail and a million-liter aquarium that people pay to climb into and, in full view of their fellow shoppers, swim with sharks. “We have too many rich people in Morocco,” says Muhammad, apologetically.

French is hoping to become one of them, he explains, as we continue south along the coast. He’s looking to buy property here, a move toward remedying his long absence. “Most of my family is here,” he says. “I feel like this is a place I will definitely be back and forth from.” Muhammad has brought us to the city’s border, where the buildings run out and the ground turns to weeds and rocky fields. He wants to show his nephew a development out here—private, and by the water. “All this land has been sold,” Muhammad says, gesturing at the empty landscape. I ask where all the money comes from. “God opened the sky,” Muhammad replies.

Soon we emerge onto a surreal expanse of newly built homes, pale mansions in the middle of nowhere. French looks out the window, apparently trying to picture himself in one of these desolate houses, in this place that was just rocks and rubble when he was here last.

 Big Boy asked the singer who she would save if she were on a raft in the middle of the ocean. Her choices were Bow Wow or 50 Cent, the other person would drown.

Lala Says She’s Tired Of People Calling ‘Kim Kardashian’ A Whore

Lala is a good, genuine friend. She definitely holds her friends down and you have to respect that.

Earlier today, she visited Power 106′s Breakfast Club to chat about how she is able to balance a successful career with being a wife and mother as well as give out relationship advice but things almost went downhill when a caller called in to ask about ‘birds of a feather, flock together’.

The caller was in a situation where she felt she was getting a bad rep because of her friend who slept around and wanted to know how Lala would deal with the situation since she is friends with Kim Kardashian. Lala responded:

First of all, We joke around and have fun but I am really starting to get a little tired of people calling her that to me because if I was calling your friend a whore you wouldn’t like that would you? No matter what people’s perceptions are, I know my friend and I know her heart and who she is and she’s not a whore. We are all grown now! I can’t be responsible for what people think about other people, I go by how a person treats me and she’s always been an amazing person to me.
As far as your situation is concerned, the same thing applies. We are all grown. If your friend has a bad rep, you can’t take responsibility for what your friend does, so you shouldn’t be grouped in that category because of what she does, you can only be responsible for your own actions.

Earlier in the interview, the subject of ‘hoes’ came up and when Charlamagne was asked who he considered a hoe, Lala said to him (jokingly but dead serious), ‘If you say it, I’m gonna punch you in your face’. She went on to give her definition of a hoe as:

I think a Hoe is someone who has no morals or values when they do what they do. So I think a hoe is breaking up [a home]– knows a person is married and is messing with him. I don’t think a hoe is someone that sleeps around because if you are single and enjoying yourself, that is what you are suppose to do.

…And Charlamagne probably ruffled up more than a few feathers when he responded, ‘You just defined why I think Lauryn Hill’ is a hoe. Yikes!

Straight Comedy! Watch Lil Wayne Not Giving A Damn At His Deposition Suing Quincy Jones III [Video]

 

When Lil Wayne's rap career is a wrap he might consider going into comedy because this has to be the funniest deposition in history.

Weezy is suing Quincy Jones III over a documentary about him. TMZ obtained the footage of him being grilled on the stand by Qunicy's lawyer, Pete Ross from the law firm  Browne George Ross about his various run in with the law, but Lil Wayne claims to not remember anything.

Wayne also claimed he couldn't remember winning the Best Rap Album of the Year for Tha Carter III in 2008. Instead he kept saying "I don't know" before Ross could finish the question.

At one point Wayne appears to threaten Ross.

"You know [the judge] can't save you in the real world." Wayne said.

This is clearly a case of not one single f*** being given by the Young Money boss.

Judge Orders Further Review Of Chris Brown's Probation After Singer Tests Positive For Weed

 

LOS ANGELES –  A judge has ordered a further review of Chris Brown's community service and travel to determine whether the R&B singer has violated the terms of his probation for the 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown appeared in court Monday for the first time in more than a year, and Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg tried to sort through Brown's probation record and the impact of a positive marijuana result during a random drug screening. Schnegg said community service logs from Brown's home state of Virginia were "somewhat cryptic" and additional review was needed to determine whether he had complied with his probation.

A spreadsheet sent by the Richmond, Va., police chief indicated Brown had completed 1,402 hours of community service, ranging from trash pickup, washing cars, painting and tending to stables.

She said Brown produced a medicinal marijuana prescription from California and that she had never ordered him not to use drugs, so the positive drug test may not have a major impact on his probation.

She warned Brown that while his marijuana use may be legal, he needed to be mindful of his public image and his sway with young fans.

"You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do," Schnegg said, noting that Brown's mother was sitting in the courtroom. "You are not only in the public eye, but you are on probation."

Brown was sentenced to five years of supervised probation after pleading guilty to felony assault for his February 2009 attack on Rihanna. Before Monday, he had received positive reports from probation officials and praise from Schnegg. The judge ordered Brown to return to court Nov. 1 for another update.

Virginia officials also reported that Brown may have traveled to Paris without permission, but Schnegg said she has approved most of the singer's travel and would have to review that claim further.

Weekend Box Office Rundown: Tie For Top Spot As ‘Dredd’ Flops

End of Watch appears to be performing on track with similar cop movies like Street Kings, which made $12 million and Brooklyn Finest’s which made $13.4 million. Both of those film only made a total of $28 million, which would be a disappointing for End Of Watch. However, with its A- CinimaScore, $28 million should be easily surpassed.

House at the end of the Street did better than recent house horror films like Dream House’s $8.1 million and Silent house’s $6.7 million, but fell short of Dennis Iliads’ Last House on the Left, which make $14.1 million. As a result of an earned B- Cinemascore, this film could end the weekend on top.

Clint Eastwood’s Trouble with the Curve debuted to $12.7 million, which is very close to the top this weekend. Compared to other Eastwood movies, Moneyball earned significantly more with $19 million and Trouble didn’t even make half of Gran Torino’s $29 million. The film performed more on the level with J. Edgar and Hereafter. This film also achieved a B+ CinemaScore, which suggest the film should retain a steady following.

Things didn’t go well for Lionsgate Dredd. Showing in 2,506 locations, the film was only able to make a depressing $6.3 million. That’s just half of what the original Judge Dredd, starring Sylvester Stallone made. Despite fair reviews from critics and a B CinemaScore, Dredd is on track to make less than $20 million for its entire run.

Chris Paul Celebrates GQ Cover With Star Studded Party In Hollywood

It was definitely couple’s night out last night as athletes from the LA Clippers and various teams hit up the Sayers Club in Hollywood to celebrate GQ Magazine’s October Issue featuring Chris Paul on the cover.  Before hitting the stage, to perform a few tracks from his upcoming album Kaleidoscope Dream, Miguel was spotted posing it up with his girlfriend Nazanin (who is featured in his upcoming video) as well as Chris Paul and his wife Jada.

On the carpet, newly married Matt Barnes (LA Clippers) posed with his wife Gloria Govan (Basketball Wives), Gilbert Arenas (Memphis Grizzles) was spotted with his long-time girlfriend Laura Govan and Caron Butler (LA Clippers) brought along his wife Andrea.  Actress Tatyana Ali and her boyfriend, comedian Eric Andre, were also spotted inside as well as Terrell Owens, Blake Griffin and Talib Kweli (who brought his wife DJ Eque.)

The Hennessy Cocktails were flowing throughout the night as Chris Paul took to the mic and encouraged everyone to socialize. Which isn’t a surprise considering he told GQ in the cover story, ‘I’m a big-time people person. Like, I love people. I hate to be by myself,’ before whispering, ‘I hate to be by myself’ a few more times.

Chad Johnson Washes His Pain Away By Copping A $300,000 Lamborghini

Chad Johnson just went through a divorce from Evelyn Lozada. To cheer himself up the former football player splurged $300,000 on a Lamborghini Aventador.

 "Just grab the new Lamborghini Aventador from Alex Vega @theautofirm," Chad wrote.

 It's a sick ride with a V12 engine, that goes from 0–62 mph in 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 217 miles per hour.

LAPD Looking To Speak With Wiz Khalifa About Alleged Hit & Run Accident

Wiz Khalifa might be in trouble with California authorities if allegations that he fled the scene of an accident are true.

 TMZ is reporting that the LAPD wants to talk with the Pittsburgh rapper about the claims from a woman that he smashed into her car and then left the accident scene without stopping.

 In the hit-and-run report filed by the woman she claims she was working on a music video shoot with Wiz. When the shoot shut down around midnight and everyone was leaving the accident occurred.

 Attempts to reach Wiz have so far been unsuccessful.
